You pray – I’m sure you do, most Americans do…

I’ve found I tend to get in a rut without thinking through how I address God. So every prayer begins: “Our Father in Heaven” - “Kind and merciful God”- etc – GREAT phrases but they exclude some praise due and aspects I need awareness of in prayer. i.e. God is much more than a Kind Father. With 101 words I can get you started - think of addressing God from these aspects:

Righteous

Just

Mighty

Awesome in majesty

Loving

Father

Holy

Eternal

Each emphasizes something of God exalting an aspect of His character that will affect us if we will consider the implications.

(Extra - add your thoughts for others to "hear".)

I can't improve on this...

You needed to hear these words from the beloved today:

"This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they've done to our relationship with God. My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other. No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us—perfect love!" (1 John 4:9-12)

Amen.

That's 101 words!
